Stunning red (again); lovely blues... Makes me wonder how you discovered it was there? Discovered a them in the footprint of a landslip or something?

You look for float below the ridges where slide material sits or on old logging road cuts, basalt "bumps-burps" in the land mass that sometimes have potential exposed seams. Calcite-quartz seams also a good indicator, and agate "nods" in the basalt. Nods in Basalt

Had a few days now to start on the clean and polish. This is where you find the cracks after pulling all that calcite crap off of them. That red and white Disdero turned out not bad for the cabinet. Thanks all, for checkin them out! The brown-yellow had a couple good cracks on it. Working on some blue, yellow and clear. Pics to come later of it polished. Ravioli? haha! I hope to get a ring stone or small pendant out of this one.

spiritstone, that first red and white striped agate is delightful, after it was rounded and polished. Do more! Great job.

Beautiful as found, but simply stunning after a polish.

Got into a pocket of these blue, white and yellows during my dig and they ended up the ones mostly found. Managed to polish up a couple of them recently and they vary in size from open hand to smaller. Thanks for checkin it out.
