Here's a couple of slabs I cut for my Sister-in-law yesterday from the trip this spring, the picture does not quite capture the real color but you get the idea. This rock was a son-of a gun to clamp in the saw vice. I do have two test rocks glued to pieces of 2X4 to see ff I can cut them that way. Letting the wood glue cure for 24 hours before cutting. I find the image disturbing. As in "This is my home, I am a mentally damaged Gulf War Vet." Sorry to pee in your cereal bowl...

Heading to Walmart Henry ? jamesp did you notice the Georgia plates? Just saying... The gall of those Texan's. How dare them copy our Walmart culture. Be original for Pete's sake.

LOL yeah I guess. I was going to post it on my youngest son's page - somehow my dad's Kentucky born roots (no offense to KY people) skipped over me for the most part and landed squarely on him. Only difference I see in this picture is he would have had about a dozen zip-ties on those extension cords

Nice slabs Henry, looks like an Oreo dessert.

HankRocks I moved your post into "slabs" - seemed like a better fit than the rock tumbling section.
