That's a keeper. Must be fun exploring those buckets of agates. Chuck was debating if I should cut it....I don't keep much anymore at least not for long. going to put a bunch in plaster of paris and cut em up. No one has expressed much interest so going to take what doesn't go in the next week and put them on the bottom of the pile. On my last outing i scored a about 60 lbs of tumbles from pea size to one inch. I think about 1/3 lakers.

I think if you take 5 or 6 killer ones like that and price them as a group of higher end lakers they would sell. That is how I prefer to buy them. I don't always want 3 pounds that has 90 mediocre ones and 10 good ones. I am sure not everyone agrees with that logic. You can still sell the other 90 percent by the pound at a slightly lower rate if you have pulled the killer ones out. Chuck

What Chuck said - I'd go for a couple killer ones in a batch.

I wouldn't be so quick to slice or tumble those natural beauties up. There is a whole bunch of freaks that love 'em natural and think any work done on them ruins their value!
