Bought this on ebay. Seller says Big Horn Jasper from AZ. slab from ad- not quite as dark as this image. cabochon- it's a hair darker than my image. Bad camera day.... in a hurry. Lots of orbs and little druzy vugs. I would swear this is an agate and not a jasper, but he says jasper. There are some translucent areas. Maybe a jasper/agate. I have seen something similar before, but forgot what it was called. I couldn't find any info on Big Horn Jasper. Maybe Astral something?

Never seen it before but AZ does have a bunch of orbicular jasper types. There are some at Cave Creek and Brenda, near Phoenix and one of our members, I forget who, sent me a bunch of white orby types I've yet to cut....Mel

Foot of the Big Horn Mountains Wyoming where the Big Horn River dumps into Yellow Tail dam. Very translucent and the orbs look like quartz which doesn't polish the same as the agate. Pretty stuff though. Jim
