Some friends have had some of their old cars used in films.

I was an extra in a few movies. A roommate I used to have was a talent agent. Her company also set up work for extras in films shot in this area. Easy money. I was in that terrible movie Navy Seals. My ex was in a few movies, too. He had such an unusual look, they really liked him. I just played a mom- real acting involved there, I tell ya, award winning stuff.

I knew rockjunquie and Rockoonz were stars. That is a peculiar squirrel Lee. Heck, I only get to have my location filmed. Hollywood !! It's going down. We will be the "happy before the murder house". Low impact shoot. Crew of ~25, three box trucks. Filming in residence and on deck. Up and down our road. Terms negotiated. Contract to sign.

Let them know that you'd like a part as an extra... you never know. It was fun and easy.

Once the contract has been signed, how long before it goes down?

Hope James still talks to us after becoming famous.. Wish I had gotten his autograph before the price increase.. grinning at James and wondering.. Wondering if he'll get a part as a leading man. If he'll still like regular rocks or just ones with gold..

He cant get to me from Georgia. hehehehe They have rocks in Georgia?? Keep the shitty rock.. might be worth something. The guys in suits and dark glasses probably told him they were at his house for an investigation and were there to make a discovery. Hey he's like us. People who are afraid of guns scare us.

Glad you got the contract. Um I think I would rather have the happy place rather than the horror place. The happy place is the shorter shoot in this case BeLinda. No blood scenes, police and detectives, emergency vehicles, etc. rockpickerforever captbob A meeting here at the house this morning to discuss the whatevers. Probably a dozen crew and actors. Shooting to start next week or week after. It will be a short shoot. However, the young location scout will be back. He is based here in Georgia. He is a rockhound and plant person. I guess I connected w/him. He uses places like mine for the type films he is involved in. I will invite him over when he has some spare time and show him the farm in detail. I think he wants to take more photos. He knows we are always here and have flexible schedules. Easy to work with. Apparently this is huge bonus in his business. I won't be surprised if he sends shoots out here 2-3 times a year. This farm has a lot of out buildings, water, bamboo, cool creeks, etc. A lot of variety. The seclusion, parking areas, utilities run about the property Just the fact that there is several miles of water piped underground with several large pumps and a lot of small lakes and man made wetlands is a big attraction. About all the lakes and wetlands were installed with bottom drains. I can open 8 inch pipes and make floods on demand for instance. I need to make a library of videos of the water dynamics. Film industry needs water scenes so my weird aquatic nursery is a desirable feature. Pinewood Studios water filming set; I think the center area is 50 feet deep. A lot of the ponds and wetlands have a green backdrop due to the bamboo. Here is Pinewood's water set in Malaysia. Note green back drop, more expensive than bamboo. Spring is green around here. Appalachian foliage in 3 directions off my deck behind the house. I believe the greenery off the deck sold the director for this shoot. Most of the shoot on the deck. Even the deep little pond close to the creek has a pump in it. It could make a rain scene in the flip of a valve. It pumps water to geothermal heat pump and can be valved a 1000 feet away to feed nursery when droughts hit. It has a strong spring feed, never stops flowing. Note the fraseri magnolia's seeding out on the forest floor. There are several rarish fraseri trees that send seeds all over the forest behind the house. Proceeds from shoot already spent on replacing 30 year old deck. They will have to limit number of crew on the deck, it's about to fall off the back of the house.

You have mosquitoes up there this time of year - if so are they bad? Hardly ever a mosquito. The shallow wetlands propagates mega dragonflies and minnows. They don't stand much of a chance. L. George another matter. Dawn and dusk they control your life. Does Clearwater have a mosquito commissioner position in govt. lol ? We used to steal the signs for our flats

I love the way you have kept the natural look of your property. Having access to control the water in your wetlands is a huge advantage to the eco system. My hats off to you. I am sure you have lots of wildlife that have been able to exist because you do this.

Well we are gonna need pics of the crew hotties! The lead organizer-wide angle lens material. I had to work to keep my eyes horizontal. Gals that look like that shouldn't be so bubbly(wife tapping fingers on table top). Wives sense new found energy to dang fast (husband's exuberance more obvious to them).
