I love the way you have kept the natural look of your property. Having access to control the water in your wetlands is a huge advantage to the eco system. My hats off to you. I am sure you have lots of wildlife that have been able to exist because you do this. All kinds of unusual critters BeLinda. Especially birds and insects feeding on wetland seeds and plants. Another whole world. The reptiles too. Mink weasels otters muskrats and beavers are less wanted mammal family guests. They are an ornery bunch, get one in a trap and be cautious.

I knew rockjunquie and Rockoonz were stars. That is a peculiar squirrel Lee. Heck, I only get to have my location filmed. Hollywood !! It's going down. We will be the "happy before the murder house". Low impact shoot. Crew of ~25, three box trucks. Filming in residence and on deck. Up and down our road. Terms negotiated. Contract to sign. Need extras? I lived in Oregon in '88 I'll bring the squirrel.

A long day of hurry up and wait no doubt.
Did they bring a gourmet food truck? Last shoot I was at (2010) had the most amazing lobster rolls and coleslaw. Wow!
ETA
Love the giant blue pot alocasia. Is that yours or a prop?

So they are filming in the house too?? Are you displaced during the project? And what about the Rhodesian? Can't imagine that the actors want to risk getting bopped in the nose by that sweet girl <grin>.

Is that yours or a prop? Hurry up and wait was the general rule, food truck was yo chef grade. yum Alocasia is Denise. More tired than in a long time rockjunquie. Just from watching them. Looked like ave. age 30. Tough folks, but synchronized and great team bunch. captbob, link above. Main actress was very attractive. Me and you would be after the crew gals. fantastic5, yes, they consumed the house. Shooting in and around constantly. House covered with green mildew lol. They said not to clean it. May regret after being on national TV.

1. Your property is jaw dropping! 2. They would HAVE TO GET OFF MY LAWN! 3. Did I see fire? They used a hand held fogger to make fog I guess to replicate humid Oregon. I was a bit freaked about the lawn. And the mess they might leave. Found one water bottle and two pieces of tape. Other than that they left the place cleaner than they found it. Never would have known they were here. They have to have an onsite medic. Oh I cut my finger, my head hurts, I'm dizzy. Man them young folks are candy jazzes. The set workers ain't babies. Their work ethic beyond call of duty. They made me stash 3 loaded guns sitting out in the open in the house. I collect stainless guns and leave them around the farm in sheds in case needed since the weather don't effect them. S+W 9mm, Ruger 41, Taurus 357, Ruger 270 bolt action. They ain't purdy but they will lift you off your feet. They don't get the best of treatment but they are well located and ready. Useless locked up in a safe. Bring it on. Just don't let me get to a shed. They'd a freaked out if they found one. One right next to where they were filming lol.

So they are all done? They did it all in just one day? WOW...efficiency! Yes Ann. One wild day. They have 5 other locations to shoot. Mostly the killing locations. They require blood and law enforcement and city cop rental. They budgeted me for one day and stuck to the plan. The other shoots cost them more money. Indépendant film bunch make do with existing structures and materials. Master improvisors. The big guys just build a house for a time period and then trash it. Bring mobile offices in campers. Lots of impact. So, by the end of the day the mogul Pinewood Studios sent me a lease renewal. They have people watching social media. They found out a film was being shot here. Freaked me out. And were on me before the end of the day shoot to resign location contract. Pinewood never did come out here to do a site analysis. That worried me. They do the big shoots with the big productions. IMO my place is tight for such big operations. I am not going to sign an exclusive with them. I don't want to be restricted. Tough call but my opinion. I would rather have a bunch of Indies at $1500/day than limited visits from the big guys at 4-5 thousand per day. The Indies are all over Atlanta and always shooting spots like mine. Pinewood in Fayetteville GA less than 20 miles away is apparently the biggest movie studio in the world now. I found them some locations from friends that have farms close by. Keeps them in the neighborhood. And I was helpful in appreciation for them letting me list w/them. Someone tore down Shannon Mall not 10 miles away and replaced it with Metro Studios. I hunt deer in the lands behind my house, it backs up to one of Tyler Perry's houses along with an entourage of other mansions that are part of his bunch. He bought 300+ acre Fort McPherson in East Point not 12 miles away to make a studio. Another 700 acres across the river from us for another film related operation. It goes on and on. Yep. I'm gonna put this 30 acres to work and let it make some money.
