MrC The deals Gemmaster, Banjocreek and others on this site offer make more sense to me. Less money more rock and really nice stuff too. Pete

Not to mention that the folks here are able to ship the same quantity for half the price using the flat-rate boxes.

I see. Well, I guess that means I can avoid this deal. Thanks for the info, folks.

Along the same lines, I purchased some Mexican lace from him (right before you posted this). Advertised as 20 lbs of fist sized pieces, I received four small boulders of the stuff.
Took three weeks for it to arrive, and now I have to find a way to break it down to sizes I can use.
Let me just, he must have some large fists if this counts as fist sized.

If it is not fist sized, I would file a NOT AS DESCRIBED with PayPal and state that you would take a partial refund as resolution. Can't hurt. BUT email him and make the proposal first. May not need PayPal dispute.

on the other hand, if it looks like nice stuff, you might be able to find someone to slab it for you...barring that, a sledge hammer does quite nicely.
tumble on!

I ordered some lace agate a while back. I recall it was a good deal and it was nice stuff. Some were fist sized and some weren't. I didn't mind too much because it is nice stuff and I paid less than $2 a pound after shipping. It was a while ago, and they may have raised their shipping rates since then.

I bought some stuff from him before. As a newbie, I thought shipping was high, but product pretty much as described. I also thought he shipped within good time frame.
