That would be a treat to watch a big 36" in action.

Nice fish egg!!
We broke down that huge Picasso boulder last night into 4 large pieces. Our class has a 36" "drop" saw. The blade is raised with a small airplane landing gear mechanism and allowed to slowly drop by leaking the fluid drop by drop.
Pics soon as I have daylight while at home

Similar design to the home built we have at class. Except ours has a cabinet enclosure. What does that beast use for lubricant?

I'll get a pic when wet or polished whichever comes first... got to polish a friends also cut on the same machine. That saw actually just uses water to cut or thats what the owner us using. The blade doesn't turn all that fast and sprays a bit so I don't forsee it being an issue, probably made to be used with water like one of my 16 inch blades (i use oil though so i don't rust out parts)
