Well, let's see. Last year I drove around California for 10 days and put on 1438 miles. You were there about 3x as long BUT you may have stayed put for longer at a time than I did.
So my guess will be 2x my mileage... 2876.
Now, one day I rode the train and that mileage didn't count, so my second guess will be 3208.

Cliff (a he) grin.. I guessed 10. What if Diane doesn't drive the truck much and rides her Harley instead? Her mileage was 1003. I win because I didn't go over. Now I gave given out my secret and will have someone take my box of rocks. Oh well. Hands on hips, eyes to the floor, slumped shulders and sad little yes.. sniff, sniff.

The contest is now over and the winner is wigglinrocks guess of 2300 was the closest without going over. The actual mileage was 2379. Yep, I drove a long ways (in my Ford F150 towing a 19' Jayco Jayflight coloradocliff) I got a lot of great rocks including some plasma agate and some mariposite, and I had a lot of fun. Thank you all (even the old farts...lol) for playing. |
