I bought two regular diamond wheels from him in the past (80 and a 220) and they are very aggressive and heavy duty. They are holding up great and grind away without hesitation. He actually set up an auction for a size and grit wheel I requested as well. I am very happy with them. I met him at a show too. Not surprisingly, he had some really nice jade too! Steve

I bought a 220 wheel from him at a show last April and it's still going strong. He does nice work with jade too.

Sorry, the fedex part was more joke than anything else. Their Ground unit has to take more time than Express, otherwise who would pay for express service? I think in the same amount of time, the box would have been delivered halfway across the country! Hint, I know I used Fedex Express to ship stuff to my brother in Tucson, I checked 2nd day service (yes, I am cheap), and about half the time, they deliver in one day, the other half two days. You know how you get excited when you order new rocks, well I am also excited about getting new stuff; and, I want it now (without paying for overnight service LOL).

I now ship via the post office Priority Mail fixed rate box. This service is less expensive & faster than FedEx. I hope this clarification is not considered spam.
Does anyone out there have some Edwards Black jade or large Jade Cove jades they want to sell?

Sure wish I had some Edwards Black Jade. I was just down there last week and had about 2 hours to rockhound for black jade but couldn't find it. My truck couldn't make it up the hill so I had to scramble up the large hill on foot and it was 115 degrees. I spent about 15 minutes looking and had to head back down. I did pick up some verd antique marble and a few pieces of hematite.

Hi Jadecarver, Great to see you on the forum! I love your wheels too. I was using the 80 grit monster yesterday and it still cuts strong, and I've had it well over a year. I think Tony (Nephrite) is big into jade. I haven't seen him around recently though. Maybe Ed (Stoner) knows what he's up to. Steve

Hi Joe, 30 days for the 220, 400 & 600s.
No responses to looking for Edwards Black Jade or Jade Cove Jade. Does anyone have any large pieces of Siberian Jade they want to part with?
Where does one post a picture of a 1,000 pound polished jade. Sorry, it is not tumbled as it would not fit in the tumbler :>) It was ground and polished with a water fed grinder/polisher.

Hi jadecarver, I just sent you a message about Jade Cove jade. At the top of the main page here, there is a line that reads, "Hey jadecarver, you have x# messages" Click on that and you'll find my message.
As for photos, you need to sign up at a place like Photobucket.com, upload your photos there, then copy and paste the photo in your post here in the Member Photos section. We all love looking at pictures, so feel free to post as many as you like.
