Second the jaspers.. Google it and match them up. Google is pretty effective on images. Also learning to test the rock forrdness, acid test etc. Learn that and you'll answer many of your own questions. Playing guessing games with your self will help you learn. You got a real treasure trove in all the wonderful rocks you got. Super deal and you'll love the learning and will become deeply addicted as we all are. Run while you have the chance,. Send your rocks to me so you wont be addicted.. Grin,. Great stuff sis !!

Utah has got some great material and pretty places to spend those hot summers. Going back in a week to hit the parks and no rockhounding. Super time. Forest is fresh from winter, not a lot of people in the mountains yet. Nice time to spend some time. Take some steaks and a couple beverages. You deserve it and I envy you. Good luck on the no rock hounding thing... you know how that will work out. Its a disease. for gosh sake, I rockhound banks, Walmart, Liquor stores. Everywhere there a fair amount of rocks. No hounding huh? Good luck with that Gunner. heheheheh
