It is cool. Did you find it yourself? I have a bunch of rocks that I think are way cool. They don't have to be specimens all the time.

I found it in the piles I'm trying to id, keep and sell. This is getting to be a lot of fun! I think it looks like it had blood in the middle!

Google Graveyard plume agate and compare pictures. You don't want to sell or you'll be sorry if you're serious about rocks. Rocks are better than cars and husbands and kids too on some days..grin How much free stuff did you come up with? 200 lbs or so..If most things seem local then that narrows down the rest of the stuff. If it looked like he was commercial then it may be more valuable. crapshoot. Cmon 7.. Any Opinions anyone else?

I want to buy lapidary equipment and will probably slow down on the selling after that. The 'I think I'll keep that' shelf has almost taken over the entertainment center. I'm getting more serious/passionate the more I learn. I'll go google that now - thanks!

Wow with that much the guy was serious and there is some good stuff . Be careful about selling old stock, rare and priceless stuff or you'll kick your self. Fast paced learning missy. Good for you. Cliff

Start looking on Craig's list for equipment. Buy old stuff, if you or the hubby are handy will save you a chunk. Also might put out a thread here and ask around your area RTH members.

Sorry, not Graveyard point agate.........Looks more like a type of Jasper......... That is what I was thinking. My fields have rocks almost identical to that one. I know very few specific Jasper names, maybe someone here will be able to give a specific.
