Darryl, Best keep that smooth talking bear away from your lovely wife!! They're a slicker character than the kind in Canada Eh You guys are having a great trip and I love your wonderful pictures and intelligent and interesting commentary. Like that you include the native flora as well. Love your unknown yucca plant hehehe The other unnamed is a phlox. From Colorado and have been through those areas a bunch but Red Canyon and Bryce in that area are so awesome. Not sure your time frames but a couple places I like in that region is LOWER Antelope Canyon over in Page Az and Goblin Valley up the road in the other direction. Google for pictures. I would drive 500 miles to see lower Antelope Slot Canyon. I like it better than Bryce. Hope you get time to do a bit of collecting. Good hunting, enjoy your wonderful vacation and both be safe Cliff

Think your unknown wild plant is a Yucca manzanitapatula. Should both amaze and astound your Canadien friends.

Those pictures are wonderful! I really like the camel and the twins and the view in that last one is amazing!

What a wonderful trip are you making! Congratulations for your decision. We also have been in those placs eight years ago and we don't regret a bit. Great memories.
