Got a call a few weeks ago,"Hey, estate sale south of you,I'm going, what do you want"? Well,I'm looking for Montana moss for now....."Ok,I will keep an eye out"... Call back the next day...."I bought it all".. You bought what,I say? Your Montana moss agates,I bought her whole pile for you, hope your not mad"??!! Oh heck no,why would I be mad.....LOL - Ok I scored you three 5 gallon buckets of Montana agates....His buckets of rock are like ,well his three turned out to be four buckets full (he heaps them up)..LOL So I grab a hounding friend of mine, tell him to strap some cash in his pocket and we head south.....(Oregon) Get to the house and "BINGO" there the buckets set, puking rock out the sides and overflowing with agates....Cash exchanges hands,we load up and the tour starts! Anything you see here,I will sell you....My friend and I walk the place,I fill up two more buckets,he buys two buckets, plus the loose rock we get for just showing up.... The Subbie is loaded and heavy........Great friends both of them!!!! Ok,here are just a few of the material I got...As for the agate (Montana),I sorted it all out,got some great cutters and tumblers.... Pulled out the stuff I will work this summer, photos following....Enjoy.... Got some Oregon Jasper,Carnelian, eggs,Montana moss agate,Rare Montana green moss agate,Trent agate and one Artifact (Montana agate)... flic.kr/s/aHskXyMJdQ

Great haul.. Major pile there. Bet the guy really loved his rocks and know that you will appreciate them and do them proud. When I go I want to leave a giant pile too just for people like you to use and be happy with. Nice stuff, many happy hours in all those buckets. Will get up to Tony's place one day and load the truck with Montanas.

Looks like some neat little tools in that bunch. Are those T-eggs or geodes, do you think?

Thundereggs.............I hand picked everyone of them......When we pulled up,I was eyeballing a heaping full bucket of eggs, but my friend was too,I knew he wanted them,so I passed on them and went for the pile on the ground-got some keepers out of there... Plus got four eggs for a gift... Two Buchanan for my wife (Short story to that) and two Fallen Tree eggs from Jason Hinkles claim...(My friend dug there last year with Jason)....

Does JAson's eggs look a lot like the Lucky strike eggs? He sell them at his shop or wholesale them? Like the eggs from that area but don't know the ins and outs of getting them.

Wow! What a score. Is that some jasper rough? Yes,all Oregon jasper.......It was never discussed where he found the lighter colors jasper's,but he did say where he bought the colorful material...Couldn't tell you though, because I have forgotten already.... I will cut the red jasper right before I change the oil in my saw...That stuff bleeds like crazy!!
