Or tooth? Could it be a pseudo? This was found in Texas. Looks odd to be a tooth but it appears to have some cellular aspects to it. The tubes in the ? have me stumped. Any ideas? Exterior taken wet. other side dry inside

Looks like bone to me. Lots of Miocene and Pleistocene stuff in Texas. I often find hunks of carbonized bone in the gravel from the La Grange quarry rock at my friends decorative rock yard....Mel

Skull bone, upper or lower jaw, mammal. Probably hog or horse. The funny end bits are broken teeth (roots).
