I think Harbor Freight had similar buffers.

The Star arbor with pan, hoods, motor would easily be worth that. I sell bare Poly arbors for $100-$150 very quickly. The Star is now Diamond Pacific and that unit lists For $960. The double shaft motor with buffs would need a dust collector hood so not worth much as is. Maybe $50 but usually 3450 rpm motors so not much use except for buffers. I have one I salvaged from a restaurant fly fan for the jewelry buffer I'll never get around to building. Then there was the time a neighbor drove in and said "You're into rocks. I'm helping the widow up the street clean out her place. Want to buy a rock polisher for $10?" It was a brand new, never used jewelry buffer with filter hood, lights, multiple buffs and compounds. Wyatt Earp could not have outdrawn me when I pulled my wallet.
