I sent james p some raw sic to experiment with. he sent me back a big box full of rios (I cant wait to run them) corals (my wife cant wait for me to run them) and some chunks of sic wheels (ill try anything once). some stones that look like they have been through coarse grind. kudos to jamesp wont find a nicer guy. now the boggling part. he sent me some already tumbled stones? ?? what can I do with them they are already polished? mind you they were some nice pieces of pet wood. all shinny and fancy, high falutin looking amongst them other rocks. or is this jamesp's way of saying "this is what they are supposed to look like youngster" challenge accepted my friend!!

Like the old eggs-in-a-frying pan commercial-- "These are stones. These are stones from a tumbler. Any questions?"

That was a very nice gesture. That's what rock hounds do.

That was a very nice gesture. That's what rock hounds do. This group always tries to outdo what ever another member does for them. really says a lot abut the high caliber of people on here. I'm proud to be associated with all of them. James may have tossed them in on the spur of the moment or to fill up a box tight. Good man James.

Always felt like I received more than I gave on this forum. Oasis of good people comes to mind. Way out in the desert. Ponce de Leon's fountain of good folks. Like being on planet utopia. Why can't the rest of the world be like the RTH ?
Hobby driven people dance to a different drummer. People without pleasure interests miss out on a lot.
People with similar hobby interests banded together is often a big success. This forum may be one of the best examples.
