I got a pm from John on my Obsidian cutting and he sent me this Obsidian rough to goof with....Some wild cuts are coming from it... Still have about half left John,its looks better than these cuts.. You got some really great cuts on that rough. Back in the saddle and back to the high skill level.
How's the health?

ohh haha cant believe I missed this post. don't worry about sending any slabs back like I said I was sending it to you cause you would make better use of it than I could. and it seemed like it would have been a waste to break up and tumble.

makes one wonder what the good end of the rock looks like. if I'm looking at it right it looks like he started on the boring looking end. when I sent it to him I figured he would start on the other end run till the sheen ran out then chuck the bottom half.

What a great piece of obsidian! I see all kinds of things going on in the slabs so far and you are not even to the really good stuff from what I see. By the way, I AM NOT bothered by having to go to your photo site to see your work. I am not as special as some. ;-)
