Going to remake using perfed metal. 3/8 holes or the like. A solid sheet collar with the column perfed metal below. Will be all metal with welded legs.
But
This may do until I get/make a centrifugal oil filter.

Bill, Centrifugal oil filters operate at 3000-8000 RPM and have a solid wall basket. Forcing the rock dust to stay and the oil to overflow the basket and be sent back to the saw. I can see a battery of saws all using one filter. Never muk a saw again! orrum.
