I have three slabs I would like to sell. Need money to put back in the kitty for the next hounding trip. Here are the three slabs: The next is a closeup of some fantastic Holt Cyn moss agate. This was collected on the recent RTH Meet and Greet with zarguy and the rest. What an amazing trip and some amazing stones came home. This is the first slab off the saw. Wow! This is a closeup of some amazing Indian Bloodstone I am cubing for a sphere (shhh... dont tell jeannie, she wants to cab some of this too!). I have never seen bloodstone like this. In the unlikely event you aren't aware; this material easily takes a wet polish. and the last slab is some Pt Mugu Shellstone Marble collected on the recent trip with aDave. This stuff takes a glassy polish. Unique material not offered elsewhere. Fossil shells and other sea creatures in a black marble matrix. Organic and high contrast, amazing! Yes, I have and can get more. That is why the price is soooo loooow! All three slabs included. Price includes postage to USA. Easily $200 worth of cabs in this box: $37 shipped $3 goes to Tommy for the RTH fund. I challenge the buyer to also add $3 for this worthy cause. First "its mine" gets the box. Live arrival guaranteed... no longer shipping lizards... it is a habit!

@shotgunner Scott, that shell stuff looks great. Thanks for letting me see how it cut. My wife said my rocks looked like "normal beach rocks." I laughed. Thanks for sending that.

Awww shucks... thanks Scott Somebody needs to jump on this - that "shells" slab alone is worth it. If it were mine to destroy I would produce at least 6 to 8 cabs and sell them in the $30 to $40 range depending on size. People (customers) love anything with visible fossils like shells in it.

Pt. Mugu, huh? Guess I'll take a little drive to see if I can collect some. It's only about 8-10 miles from my house. Haven't done any beach collecting since I moved from up the coast.

What RTH fund? Wasn't there at least a $1,000 surplus when the purchase went through less than 3 months ago?

What RTH fund? Wasn't there at least a $1,000 surplus when the purchase went through less than 3 months ago? Does it matter that I added $6 to it? Why bother posting? Why can't I generate money for this website the way I can, same as you so thoughtfully did with the auctions concept? You helped with the purchase. Now I want to help with ongoing expenses. Please sir, may I have your blessing? Doesn't it seem prudent to start adding now, so we don't have an emergency in 10 months? If we all add a buck or three per sale made using this website; Tommy will never be confronted with a financial dilemma. Don't you agree this is a good idea?

You helped with the purchase. Now I want to help with ongoing expenses. Please sir, may I have your blessing? Doesn't it seem prudent to start adding now, so we don't have an emergency in 10 months? If we all add a buck or three per sale made right here; Tommy will never be confronted with a financial dilemma. Do you agree this is a good idea? Does it matter what you do with your money? No, of course not. Not to me anyway. I was just asking question. (I do that!)Mark had this place for over 12 years (more) and never needed a dime from the members that I recall. ( ETA: Not saying nor implying that Tommy asked for this new "RTH fund". You were simply being helpful I'm sure.) When I discussed the forum and it's finances with him (Mark), he told me that it pretty much broke even. He even had a $300 surplus in the forum account at the time - from the Amazon link ads and to be used for the ad free forum fee. Maybe the forum expenses dramatically went up in 3 months or folks here quit using the Amazon ad link? I dunno... Do as you wish. Again, I was just asking as I didn't know there was an "RTH fund". And yes, you most certainly have my blessing to do whatever you care to with your money! Do I agree that it is a good idea? Does it matter whether I agree or not? Not really. Nice slabs by the way!

@shotgunner , I have a chunk of India Bloodstone that's very much like your slab. I've made & sold a couple pieces of jewelry & have a few slabs left. No photos today. I've got a flu & am dealing with that. Good thing I work from my home office. Lynn

Yes, thank you. I challenge all sellers and buyers to make a small donation to Tommy simply for the venue we have to sell and make a few bucks and buy the materials we desire. I chose $1 per slab and will continue to do so. Eric kindly matched my "tip" and together we bought Tommy a couple half litres of German beer. Personally I'd like Tommy to make some money for his time. If it is profitable, then it's safe.

That is short sighted thinking. Tomfoolery really. Nothing wrong with a venture generating cash flow. This one is no different. I expect better from you captbob.
