Been playing this idea in my head for awhile. Not sure the end result was worth all the time and silver. I like it, but it isn't quite what I had envisioned. I may have to try this again... a little differently. Tonopah Turquoise

What's not to like? Simple, yet elegant design, vibrant color and finish. Overall a stunning piece! But that's just me...

Really interesting wrap and looks great. I like the different look especially since the silver frames the stone well without overwhelming it.

That's awesome. Something almost mechanical about the wire work that contrasts really well with the stone. The symmetry maybe ... whatever it works.

I agree, it's great, I really like your wraps with the wire outside the stone.

That is so simple elegance and so different than most.

reminds me of my lace edge wire wrap type tabs; I'd put 6 of them on for security but I like that it leaves most of the stone viewable

Had to check out your post since you are the closest rock junkie to me that I'm currently aware of. Absolutely beautiful! Perhaps, one day when I gain confidence, I might attempt the craft myself. Your skill certainly provides incentive.

I've been at it a very long time.

Oh, and my wire wrapping went more like- practice, practice, cuss, cuss, practice, cuss, practice, throw it away. Don't know how you wrappers do it...

I consider you a neighbor, too. You aren't so far away. BTW- You should hear the words coming from MY mouth sometimes. Mom would slap me. LOL!
