The rock was painted by a fly tying buddy that died. He used it for a weight in the front of his canoe when he was alone; I do the same. I named the rock Larry in memory of him. The geode was given to me by a local friend that goes down and digs them. I don't particularly care for them myself but a girl I know loves them so it's for her collection, she doesn't have any doubles. Next on the list is a triple? The geode is about 5" across
