Nicer gemmy stuff that will cut vivid cabs. Also interested in buying a few cabs if anyone has any lying around. Anyone have any, or know a source?

it can be nice stuff but with it's dual hardness and cleavage; a pain. Do you work it? I only find it mixed in sillimanite from the Fraser rvr BC

I've never seen it in a "big hunk" before and only worked with the blades. What I need is the pretty blue stuff much like this>>> www.pelhamgrayson.com/Blue-kyanite-Blades-500-gram-12-Kg-Bag-2-11550.htmlI need to make a couple of pendants and rings for the display to go with the earrings I have . can you text me pic of the Kyanite you have? Any nice Lazulite slabs from Graves Mtn?

Hey Arlen I had a 20 pound hunk. Guy Named Jhon on Lapidaryforum.net cut a 4 inch or so sphere out of it and one for himself too. He sent me the end cut back with the sphere. Look on that forum and search kyanite snd the thread will come up with pics. He made a cab too! It's chatoyant like.
Yep I turned a 20 pound hunk into a sphere and a few scraps!!! MOVE OVER RICH FOLKS!!! LOL. I thought it was a huge hunk of some kind of pyrite. Duh...
Trust me you font want to know about the Pepsi can size Aquamarine I messed up on in the Hogg Mine in LA Grange Ga!!!
But I did find a 15 pound hunk of guaranteed Kingman green turquoise this summer!!! LOL. Arlen saw it last week!!! There, I can't post pics but I got witness!!!

Not Kingman I tell ya! It's from the now famous "Curb" mine in Branson, Missouri where that 15 pound chunk was smashed to smithereens against a curb in the parking lot . Prolly still some fragments in the grass out there! I wish I had of thought to take a pic of it before it got reduced in size. I just looked at the sphere. It is badass, but not the material I need for jewelry. Open the link I attached earlier and look at the Kyanite blades. I'll try to remember to take a pic of the earrings in my display today and post a pic tonight.

Slow sales with higher prices. Do you set faceted stones too?

No Arlen good sales is important!!! Too many craftsmen and women are altogether ridiculous expensive. I think your prices reflect the market very well.

Yes, I set faceted stones and am in the process of adding a selection of rings with eye catching stones such as Mystic Topaz and an assortment of birthstone rings
