Advanta 7 inch blades made from 1/8" steel discs. Weight 1 pound 12 ounces each. The diamond segments are 1/4" wide and 1/2" deep. If putting 4 together for instance the rotating weight would be 7 pounds which is quite a bit for the 7/8" hole/7/8" shaft. I would prefer to have bearings on each side for that much weight on a 7/8" shaft. And would think twice about spinning them at 3600 RPM. They are rated for that speed, but 4 together on a 7/8" shaft is a bit scary. Spinning one blade on a tile saw motor feels smooth and safe at 3600 RPM. Added surface area of 4 blades at say a safer 1800 RPM will slow cutting rate a good bit.

This is exactly what I've been looking for. Thanks for sharing. I can't wait to get my machine built with these.

I went ahead and ordered some of these blades. They arrived today and wow, they look pretty serious. Looks like jamesp is onto something. Will report when I get my machine built.
