beefjelloBrian some of your slabs look like my guacamole prep. They look great Sorry about the chippy one that had such great promise. Most chippies have disappointed many a man.

Amazing material and such variation! Never seen it before. Is it self collected?

Thanks everyone! coloradocliff been thinking about how to cab the chippy one. Perfect flat on the lap, mix up some 2 part and clamp on a quartz cap doublet style. Might be worth trying right? fantastic5 This stuff is from Mexico. Never collected down there, only bought from those who did and survived.

Things have sure changed from the good old days in Mexico. Interesting to see how that fix comes out on the chippy one Brian, Nothing ventured and something learned.

Does all the imperial have muted tones and colors like the ones you cut ? And I agree the bottom one has a couple stories to tell once finished I betcha.

SOme is bolder. The nodular with overlapping orbs is Royal Imperial Jasper. There is also Imperial, and a spiderweb Imperial that are not nodular - or from very large nodules.
