If I had any ready, my Dad woulda got a rock, and acted like it was a diamond. I think if I gave him a boiled egg with his name written on it in crayon he would cherish it forever. I manage a shoe store so can you guess what he got, and, of couse, loved ;D

My sister, mother and I went together and got my father a wonderful tool, we got him the Total Trolley. It is the coolest thing I have have ever bought. Instead of explaining it here is the website www.totaltrolley.comIt came early and just in time for him to be able to use it, he had just bought some flat stones to add on to one of our patios and it came as he was unloading the stones and then he was able to move the wood we had stacked alot easier than using a wheelbarrel. I got my dad rough. Really. Petrified wood and hematite. He was thrilled. Now that he is into this hobby it sure is easy to find gifts for him that don't cost several hundred! Hubby got a new fillet knife and a set of DVD's.."Band of Brothers". He was happy.

hey i went to totaltrolley.com. thought it was neat, ordered two, in fact...then they sprung it on me that it would be 8 weeks delivery (and their online chat support kinda sucks.) expedited delivery does not exist, apparently...
now i have to wait 48 hours to be able to cancel my order.....
nice idea, shame they are manufactured one at a time by elves in basements.

My dad got a gift certificate to Home Depot. I wasn't sure what tools he needed to fix up the house. He's retired and has been working on the honey do list.
I did mention that he might need a dremel tool or maybe a grinder. He said that he is thinking of getting a router! Oh well, not sure I can use a router, but, if I do, I know where to go!

For Father's Day my Wife and Daugther took me on a picnic to Mt. Charleston. We did a little hiking and came back with a bunch of pretty but plain old rocks, and some really cool black ones I found way up in a little waterfall. Think the kid came back with more rocks than Me, But hey "they's all Rocks"

Routers are cool, Cal! But, don't think ya' can use them on rocks! I have a Roto-Zip - really cool tool! A roto-zip will do several things - can use it like a jig saw, can cut metal and use as a grinder (with the attachment), also can be used as a router. It is really a great all round tool. If he can't make up his mind, he might take a look at one. llana
