It's something oolitic but I'm not sure. It looks like some Leopard agate gone bad doesn't it? The colors come out more and more as it tumbles. Prolly some orbicular type of rhyolite is my guess. Post a picture of some and maybe someone else will be able to identify it. It is found here in Arizona.
Glad you like your box Kim, what did you think of the faceted ocean jasper beads? Thought they might look cool on the crosses your doing.
