I picked up a parcel of small roughs of this material and have been working it up. I'm keeping the shapes true to the roughs and not worrying too much about internal fractures and inclusions. Can't be too picky with this stuff or else you just end up with a dop stick at the end of the grind.  |

Nice cabs... Holly Blue is a hard material to work with,most are not workable pieces... You did great...

Just can't be fussy about size, shape, fractures, inclusions, etc. I've set aside the more convoluted pieces for carving projects. |

Still some material out there,its just being hoarded! I have seen stuff (Holly Blue) that would knock your socks off!!
They just won't sell it or work it,just let it sit in the dark sheds in buckets... CRAZY!
