I found a strange lake superior agate the other day. It's definitely a geode, but it looks like all of the agate has fallen down to the "bottom" of the stone and left only quartz behind. Could be a ruin/faulted agate? Does anyone know what kind of laker this is for sure? I've only been collecting for a few months so I'm no expert It weighs about 2 lbs

Welcome to the forum, Nemesis. toiv0 might be able to help you with your question. Otherwise, try the Lake Superior Agate Collector's group on Facebook. Those people really know their agates. Where did you find your agate? Michigan? Minnesota? I didn't get up to Lake Superior to hunt this summer, but I usually hunt various spots in the U.P. Agates are tough to find up there, but I have fun looking.
