I have been buying and saving nice rhodochrosite and charoite beads for a long time. Figured it was time to put them to use with some gold fill wire. Got some pendants done, too. royal-imperial-jasper-pendant: royal-aztec-lace-pendant: Rare-charoite-bead-necklace-14k-GF: Rare-charoite-bead-necklace: rhodochrosite charoite necklace: rhodochrosite charoite necklace 2: bloodstone cabochon pendant:

Super nice as always, the necklaces are way cool you must have the patience of a saint. When it çomes to your rocks.if you don't mind me asking,do you tumble your wraps to stiffen an clean the wire up? Thanks, but the necklaces actually work up fairly quick. I used to tumble everything I made as a habit. Now, I only tumble if I think they need it. In the case of the gold fill- I started with half hard, so they don't really need it. It doesn't easily tarnish, either. I always cut my wires flush, so no biggie there. I also use a file when I need to and never leave unfiled wire ends pointing where they can scratch or snag. For silver, I think I tumble 50% of the time now. Depends on the piece.

Absolutely gorgeous work Tela! Also like the background you chose for the royal aztec 💩, lol That's manzanita burl wood. It used to be a base of a glass sculpture. I used to sculpt hot glass, so I had a bunch of them kicking around. Waste not, want not.

Fantastic set, of course. It's a great color combo on the necklace. The imperial is outstanding.
