Are you ordering in bulk? Not ordering, just inquiring Ann. If these stones are real for instance. Seller is on FB. I see lots of this type material in the Indo folks. Most is off the chart. No idea of prices. |

Wow, that snake scale is freaking awesome. Wonder what is is as it looks organic in origin. That first red and green material looks a lot like the old rose agate out of Ludlow, CA. Pretty neat stuff.....Mel

If the price was right seems like those cabs could be purchased in bulk and touched up/reshaped by a master(Tela). And then resold. All's fair in love and war(implicating our dear Etsy importers) MADE IN USA, at least some one here reworked it. Need to PM to get pricing. |

The volcano map of Indo is amazing, so many and so tall, thinking amygdule's and massive ancient lava flows. Agate country. There is a large population of Indonesians selling these materials on Facebook and many more fine looking stones. The moss is off the chart, others too. |

I've been wanting to order some indo stuff, but am too leary of dealing with international sellers over facebook...anyone ever order anything from them?

I made inquiries into such a FB listing. Patti Polk (Agate Grrrl) said stay away from that seller. I don't recall the name. Beautiful moss agates, though. I would love to find a trustworthy source.

Yep, Indonesia has some beautiful agate. Wonderful banded and mossy types from Java and Sumatra, great palm and pretty fantastic flame, plume and Sagenite too. Zenz's books have some fine examples....Mel

Sometimes it is wonderful other times garbage. I get enough great stuff to make up for the junk. I buy small parcels. I am not sure they mine it there. I think i is from everywhere, just cut there. Not sure I would want to buy 10lbs + from them but that chrysophrase is yummy. Vic |

If you make a bulk buy, I would be very interested in some Bumblebee, Chrysoprase, Idiocase and snakeskin |

I've gotten some stuff from a couple of different folks in indonesia. It's been ok to very good. Never quite what the pictures show. The usually require some bulk minimum, like 10 kilos. The moss agate and jasper I got were pretty nice. Kinda pricey, the really good moss agate is like a hundred bucks a kilo. just rough, they've thrown in some sample cabs I wasn't impressed with.

A few extortions/year of that magnitude and they have the equivalent of a year's salary in that country. I did just that, Retni is offering 6 fine cabs as pictured.
