Still not working little momma. Bet its hard to keep all the balls juggling at once. The move, the kids, and the forum. Busy world for mothers. Patiently waiting to see your current treasures sis.

Aww thanks! I miss being in here all the time. Struggling to keep a roof right now but keeping good spirits!

Admin can you please delete this thread? Yes but before I do please read this thread: forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/79551/article-topic-post-photosPhotobucket going down sucked for all of us but Flickr is not the only alternative. One option available would have been to change the photo size setting on your phone camera to under 1MB and you could use the "Add Attachment" button right in your post. Cheers and good luck selling them Tommy

Argh! Ok. On pause until I figure this out 😞😡 I thought I had seen a reference to Flickr here, but maybe I'm wrong. It's a great option for hosting your photos (so far). If you establish an account and then figure out how to upload photos to your photostream, you're about 99% there. The upload icon is the cloud in the upper right corner of your browser. After your photos are uploaded, here are some directions I've provided to others in other threads: with Flikr, you have the ability to copy and paste code that works in posting photos on this site. I'll make this as brief as I can.
Go to your photostream in Flikr and click on the photo you'd like to post here. When that photo loads as a single photo, you should see a series of symbols in the lower right corner of the screen. The curved arrow is what you are looking for.
Click on the curved arrow. After doing so, you should get a screen that says, "Share 1 photo to:". Select the BBCode tab. The code you see in the box is what you will copy and place in your post to show the photo. If you don't know, ctrl+c is copy, and ctrl+v is paste. After you've copied the BBCode, all you have to do is paste it directly in your post. Oh yeah, select "medium" as the size before you copy, as that attribute should be placed in the code you copy.
So with your OP (original post), simply go edit it by deleting your old photo links and pasting in the new ones from the BBCode generator. Again, just place it directly. You don't have to select "link" or "image" from the formatting menu. Hope this helps.
Good luck to you. Dave

rebeccaink Saw your quiet little "like" on an old post so thought I would tell you to keep going strong. Hope that life's load on a young mother has lessened but I think not. Know you don't post as much as you did and hope you come back and start by telling us that you finagled some different pieces of equipment. smile.. Keep your coin together and watch Craig's List and you'll score something at a great price. Don't sell off all of your treasure before you see what the value is. A lot of us have gotten rid of something that later, wished we hadn't. And NO ! You can't drop the kids off at the fire station after they are teenagers ! hehehehe
