80 pounds of float?? Wow. What an awesome piece. Sure be a neat specimen and is smaller and easier to mess with with than some of my stuff. FIgure that the bigger that my specimans are the harder for someone to break in andsteal whenI'm in a warmer winter climate. Cops could just follow the forklife tires or check at the hospital for people with hernias. hehehehe Whats a usual price on something that big? Depends on the quality of it because we all know the increasing rarity of it. Thanks Rich, sometimes Dale, always wigglinrocks .
A guy at the rock show had it at last years show , asked him Sunday about it , still has it . I'll be talking with him in a week or two . Will PM you the price . Thanks bro.. Don't have a picture by chance? Putting up scaffolding his mornig for changing greenhouse roof. Cant use the little metal ones. Bad place, so building it out of heavy lumber.

Thank you, Cliff. I know y'all have blocked each other, but one can still read quotes. That read like a poke. Most people will poke back, so then it just keeps going. I'm not the happy fairy or nothing just trying to keep things civil.

No pics but will take camera when we go see him . As I remember , it is roughly 2 feet x an inch or two thick . Very nice . Said he has a lot of copper out behind the garage , will see what else he has . Has lots of rock also .

He'll tell me, grin.. Yeah too bad you aint a good mooch. We could get that copper. It could live in Wisconsin with you 2 part of the year and the time it spends with me under the bridge it would get a deeper patina from the higher humidity. ON your approach, you going to tell him that you need it so you don't have to sell a second kidney so that you can have heart surgery? Oh Gosh ! Didn't tell me that he kept it over his mantle. Maybe try to get a kidney from him first, probably be easier. hehehehe I

Oh how we weave our little webs. Have woven my share in 25,000 posts. Engaged a lot of people over the years. Seen a lot of them come and go. Seen them stay thru thick and thin. Attacked and been attacked. Given and taken. Listened and spoken. In general, found that respect and avoiding a sharp tongue makes for a more pleasurable experience here. To each his own. In all honesty most of us have our own agenda. Call it human nature, makes things interesting. You don't have to be an FBI profiler to know where people are coming from. Most of us come across load and clear.
Disagreements happen. Been there done that. The brawl breaks out and runs it's course. Might as well let them duke it out. Never seen one stay fueled too long. It quiets, the participants settle down. Boundaries established. Back to normal operating procedure.
Had a few condescending SOB's along my travels here. Probably a good thing there was a keyboard and a lot of distance between us in that moment. Not a one of them do I hold any grudges with. Moved on and let it pass. Best way.
A member named Helen had 12,000 posts, about all in controversy lol. sandman and Mark stepped back and let the brawl go down. I learned so much from that era. Ole Helen could dish out some crazy angles. Brought out some depth and thought from other members. Glad to have been involved in that event, also glad that it has passed.
