Here's my very first tumbler. I built it with my daughter a couple of years ago. She was about 4 at the time and she brought home "beautiful" rocks from kindergarden everyday. Eventually we had so much rocks that I had to figure out what to do with them (since I wasn't allowed to throw them away) and I came across this thing called rock tumbling :-) Anyway, since someone noticed the Lego leftovers on my Ghett-O 3.0 I thought I'd share the all Lego 1.0. The spinning thing to the right of the tumbler is a rotationsensor. If the drum would roll of the wheels or if it would stop spinning (this tumbler broke down all the time) the sensor would stop spinning and fall onto a couple of paperclips which would close a circuit and pull a relay that would cut the power to the motor. Thanks for watching.

That's really awesome! The rotation sensor is genius.

With the price of Lego sets these days that might be the most expensive tumbler around, lol
