If you remember a while back, I sold a huge batch of Turquoise cabs for an older gentleman to help him out. He called me this morning wanting to come by the shop with "A few more things" he found in his garage. He had over 4 pounds of Turquoise rough and showed me a sample of about 50 pounds of Spencer Opal rough he collected many, many years ago. I just spent over a grand on vehicle repairs, so gave him a deposit to hold everything for me until pay day next month. He convinced me to come to his house and look at other stones and his lapidary equipment. All but the Opal and Turquoise will be sold at the auction next Saturday, so I will raid the piggy bank and hope I can score some of the things he has.
Gem Tech 7 wheel 4 inch Opal machine much like a Pixie Raytech 4 inch trim saw Some type of flat lap/faceting machine 10 inch trim saw Older two wheel polishing machine Older S/C grinding unit. 4 wheel 6 inch I think Larger and quite old slab saw, 14 inch I think. It was pretty covered with boxes, so couldn't investigate much. lots of misc slabs and small rough
If there is any interest in the equipment, I may be able to buy it at auction, but shipping would be high on the saws. I will likely sell some of the smaller Turquoise and half or more of the Opal. If I buy any of the slabs I will likely sell most of those also

Make sure you post pictures of your buys. I'm very interested in seeing the opal and turquoise rough.

After the mega auto repair bills and the turquoise commitment, plus saving a bit for the auction Saturday, I'm out of funds for a while. I need to sell stuff instead of buying! Lol!

Heck of a deal you put out there. That 10 inch trim saw sounds good for a couple different people. Oil or water? What state?

I will buy what I can afford if things go cheap and post it on the forum at only a very modest markup for my gas and effort. Shipping is what will be a deal breaker though . I live in Missouri

I'm interested in some of the roughs, pictures appreciated. For the turquoise, when you say smaller, how small?
