Beautiful shots, Jeremy. That Milky Way looks incredible. Some pretty landscapes, too. You shoot those with ND filter or HDR?

Jeremy, Did you hear about Terr's hubby being so ill? She has cancelled ALL hunts a while back for the fall. More bad news.. Singleton Ranch is up for sale. Henry might have an update. Jean Larramore might be tempted to do a few hunts on her ranch thought and Stillwell of course is always open for business. Any time for hunting any San JAcs lately? Or all work and only play with your awesome camera work?

Beautiful shots, Jeremy. That Milky Way looks incredible. Some pretty landscapes, too. You shoot those with ND filter or HDR? Thanks, Randy! Kinda weird shooting something that you can't really see. It was extremely dark.... Virtually no light pollution and no moon, still only see a faint strip of white. Then you take the picture, and like magic it shows up on the view finder! I used a 10 stop ND filter on the landscapes. I think it gives a little more depth of field. I'm gonna have some tumble pictures soon.........

No updates since the first e-mail from Teri a few weeks ago. A lot depended on how her husband was doing come mid to late Sept. He had some sort of heart procedure a month ago and was recovering. He has another more serious heart procedure late Oct/early Nov. She was going to decide and let folks know if she did decide to do a few guided trips this Fall, or just wait until the Spring. If I hear anything will let you know.
Not good news about the Singleton Ranch being up for sale. Hopefully the price would make the sale a slow process. We shall see. Funny how history repeats itself. My brother and I first collected there in May 1975, it was called the bishop Ranch then. 2 months later we see an article about the Ranch being sold and never got to go back. Finally get a chance to collect there and now it's up for sale again! Hopefully I won't have to wait 42 years to collect there again.
Henry

Awesome photos Jeremy! I miss the clear night skies we use to see in North Dakota! We get nothing here,to much city! That sucks... Thanks, Mike! Nothing like being out, away from all the light pollution and seeing the whole sky filled with stars! Being close to Houston, I don't get to see it that much either!

If we get the chance again Henry we sure need to jump on it. 42 years is along time. Thanks for the update.

Reminds me of Sunday School photos, utopia style, uncanny lighting. Nothing like dusky yellow/orange sky light. Knocking it out of the photography park Jeremy.

Tried something a little different with the landscapes. I used a really dark 10 stop filter and ran a longer exposure. I think it gave a little more depth of field. It's all just a large, fun experiment.....

Out of world panorama of that beautiful thorn ridden flesh removing tire puncturing drug infested big buck bearing agate rich badger populated Texas vegetation. Give you $20 to walk a mile on it bare foot. Curious how animals with flesh covered feet travel on that pin cushion. Dogs for instance.
