Liking that real purdy one with the dendrites. Going to putter with slabbetes and cabbing later down the line when you get more and more and more equipment? grin We all have such unique rocks in our own areas. We don't like me as much as the other gal's or fellow's but they do. Like the variety big guy !!

If only the boss lady would let me spend the cash for a slab saw & cabbing machine......BTW these were "expertly" cut on a HF tile saw.

Colorful bunch . And I thought you said ya didn't have rocks there . All kinds of rocks but tumble worthy rocks are not too common. Could build a house out of all the quartzite. I actually find a lot of agates but not very pretty & have had hard lives.

Handy thing and you sure have it mastered. Yep the hand that rocks the cradle holds the purse strings. Bet you have been watching Cl for a while now. MAybe momma will get one for Christmas for you. Of course you do have that long Western vacation coming up and that aint cheap.

I actually find a lot of agates but not very pretty & have had hard lives. Maybe getting more time to rock hound or at least research the local area might turn up stuff that will tumble. I have had some really good tumbles come from local material. HAve a piece of a granite conglomerate called Telluride Conglomerate that polished up super. Have lots of other too. Have to admit I like a lot of exotics but you can have the Kambaba and such.
THis is my favorite pocket rock. Smooth and shinier than the picture shows.

Our north country rocks are not known to have led very pampered lives either .

MrMike, the first and last ones remind me of some of the pegmatites that I have cut from North Carolina (Sinkhole and Ray mines). But I have not been so lucky to find the dentritic ones. Nice find for our land of limestone!

Ughhh Anyways, it was busted open pretty bad, hope that one chip for ID is still there. Since I have a truck I've been "volunteered" to help with several moves. Sorry to hear the box was busted, hopefully there's something in there you will like.
