Those first ones def have some fire - where'd they come from?
The green ones look like Gary Green Larsonite (petrified swamp bog) to me. There are few types that look almost the same though so I'm not sure.

I like to go out there at night with a flash light and LW/SW light to look through it. Everything looks different at night. I happen to catch a few flashes and brought it home for further discovery. That just may pay off. The other was in a box of misc stuff I bought quite a while ago. I also was leaning toward/hoping Gary Green!

coloradocliff, I've noticed that you have been posting some pix. Good for you! It seems that many of them have intense colors, like unnaturally so. Could you be using a camera setting that says "Vivid" or something like that? Poke around the settings & see if you can dial the colors back to "Real world". Lynn

Lynn Thank you lynn Yep says vivid and don't see a way to change it. Will look through. Yeah finally got time to figure out the picture posting and doing a page. New camera. Dropped 3 in the brew pub that I am a part of and in the after hours fun things get lost and trampled. Last one was helping friends set up elk camp and ran over that one. Now they don't make that one any more and Have to figure out a new one. Staying healthy? know you stay busy.. Have to roll over your way when the knee jheals up a bit. Mostly pointed towards Texas and Oregon but like your area a lot. The pictures of Bryce were taken with the old camera but that new Indian Blanket was the new camera and the Gary Green I just snapped for Mel were the new camera. Thanks for the info. Will get it better. Friend Cliff
