So this is my first attempt at this. The plan is to build splash shield around wheels out of wood and coat them with something to water proof it. Just trying to keep this as cheap as possible. so far about 130 dollars in. The expensive piece being the arbor. ill drain it to a bucket sitting on lower shelf of the cart its on. and just a bucket with hose to the top of splash shield for water delivery system. The cart it sits on is an old av cart so it basically has outlets built into cart. i can plug motor in to the handle of cart. Any ideas on good products to water proof wood? Any issues you all see i am totally not seeing?

Looks like you have a good start with the main parts . One thing I would suggest is to place the motor out of the water pan . Maybe cut the tray in half and put a back on it to keep the motor separated from the water .
