Found this the other day, about 10lbs.  Found the rock on the left a few months ago. These 2 pieces came off it.Would make some killer slabs/cabs.   |

10 pounds Our baseballs aren't that heavy.
Cool find. Will take a picture of mine like that.. Rock..
Sure takes a polish. Odd looking rock for limestone... grin

I really like the polished rock , you need to talk momma into that slab saw . Promise to make her a pendant or something .

Think Mike uses a tile saw don't he Rich? Here's the rock similar to yours Mike. Brecciated and with some sparklies hiding. Afraid to cut it and have it blow up in the saw. Doesn't look healed all the way.

The one next to the baseball is certainly a breccia. The other one is something else. Perhaps a granite that tumbles well or a dense plume agate?

The one next to the baseball is certainly a breccia. The other one is something else. Perhaps a granite that tumbles well or a dense plume agate? Scott, doesn't have any of the graininess of granite & much harder. Maybe a jaspagate? |

Every thing you have is bigger than mine Big Mike.. but ... never mind.. family forum. hehehheehe Mines got blue sparklies.. and isn't as healed looking but the brecciating look real similar. Get a new saw and I'll send it to you... To practice on and see it it blows up.. When you heading out this way for vacation? Soon..

Might be time for a buy Mike a slab saw fundraiser . coloradocliff could donate some nice asphalt specimens and I have some real nice basalt that could go to a good cause like a new saw . |
