Hi All, Great day for me. I have just emptied my first polished stones from the tumbler and they don't look too bad. But now I've got to start drilling the holes etc for jewellery. And there lies the problem. I have no diamond wire drills. I had plenty of information stored as to where to get them from, before the computer let me down the other day, so if anyone could give me the odd address of reliable companies, I'd be really gratefull. I am after drills from 1mm to 2mm. Many thanks, max

Thank you. Those prices were much better than Diamond Pacific Have you used the sintered diamond glass drilling bits on agates and jasper? I could have gone crazy buying all kinds of fun stuff.

This guy and his wife have their own website you might want to visit so you can see some of their stuff. He does some very nice pieces and he has his own opinion on what bit to buy, what type to buy etc etc. Just like you I've got a lot of pieces to drill. But, I also have a ton of cutting to do! Both pre and post tumbling. One of these days I'LL learn how to make cabs since several nice people have sent md some nice stones to work with. But, here's the deal, these bits have been shown to be a bit pricy because they are suppose to be the best to use for what we're doing so I'll let you know! They are called: The Triple Ripple! I haven't tried this technique that is used with these bits but I'll let you know how they do. May the adventure begin! .....Also they can be a bit pricy depending on how serious you want to be starting out. Like one bit is $5 a oack of 5 can be $26 $ a hundred runs you a pack of 26 is $54 or 56, then the big pack of 100 runs you $166 or something like that. Anyway get the wallet out and see what you do! Me, I'm going to go as easy as I can. See if I can do a better job spending money and leave here with the correct technique
