Found this awesome little agate today in WY, about 20 miles northish of Medicine Bow, WY. It looks like it was a formerly living creature like a clam maybe. It's solid agate now though, the typical brownish prairie agate you find around there.

Wow that pretty cool! We occasionally find agatized or quartz crystal filled Turritella here on the ranch. Unfortunately, ours like yours, are not supper colorful, just earth tones....Mel

Up for the day hunting or the weekend? Just for the day, close enough to Cheyenne where my girlfriend lives to get her out for the day, I'm slowly converting her to a rockhound :-) So much to see up there in WY, lots of awesome rocks.
