I think this is a huge agatized sponge or some other sea creature(monster!) conglomeration. Most of it's exterior is composed of little spheres(ooids?), although it may be hard to see in the pictures, and some botryoidal agates. The interior appears to be jasper/agate. I'm not sure if this is one creature or some composition of a seafloor bottom like sponges, corals, etc all stuck together though. Weighs about 40 lbs and was found in central MN.

Has anyone found anything like it before or well versed in ancient sea life? It's kind of similar to some other stuff I've found, except for the spheres everywhere.

Are those spheres common formations, nodules of some sort? I've found tabulate coral fossils(foerstiphyllum vacua) around here before, but not this.
