After filtering the used oil how do you dispose of the sludge? I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with it.
Thanks Andrea

Harmless mineral oil. rock mud. Wrap it and trash it. See soon how others deal with theirs and how they reuse the oil.

I filter through a paper bag. I usually leave it setting for a couple months in the garage, so it's fairly dry when I throw the paper bag in the trash. I also throw my rock sludge from tumbling in the trash after I dry it out. There's a lot more of that than the oily sludge.

Thanks guys. Good to know I can just throw it in the trash. I have a couple of buckets that need to be filtered plus I need to clean out the saw again. I have some dried tumbler sludge to throw out too.

Yep, what to do with the sludge? you ask one hundred people and you could get a hundred different answers. But the most important thing is what not to do with the sludge. Do not pour it down the sink. Never Or any drainage pipe. Could be very costly.
