Whenever we start to get spam emails or board posts from these flim-flam operations, we should email them & let them know that spamming will not be tolerated on our forum and that spamming will earn them a ban & blanket boycott by all RTH members. I know it hasn't been a major problem here (yet) but I know of a few public boards that are so plagued by bots & spammers that they have to constantly change the URL or have been forced into using biometric log-in security.

Man, that's exactly what I've had to do on my forum to keep the buttheads from posting nekkid pics and porn sites and all the dam ads. It's created a lot of extra work and because of it, I would never ever buy from anyone who spams.

yup, count me in. i'm sure from the outside looking in, an advertising person sees all sorts of trades and sales in here. but WE know the difference. and it's not a fine line, it's a big fat WIDE line and we all know when it's been crossed.

And the dang thing is- all they have to do is spend a little time here- contribute to the forums- and let us know they are a vendor- Look at some of our memebers that are also vendors- No problems with them-

I already sent them a politely worded f-off email, not sure if anyone else bothered to though...? I was hoping enough members would follow suit and help drive the point home a little.

my 2 cents is dont mess with them till they mess with us if you piss them off they will make a point of coming here with there spam --- so far we only had acouple and they have been takin care of -- dont give them the name of our board or they will be here next on spite
and since i know they are sending spam emails i would never buy from them no matter what they are sellin

It's tempting to bomb them with emails but I think Sands and Drupe are right.
