Glad to know you are getting your original slabs after the screw up. Hope you post pictures when you get them.

Faith in humanity restored But they didn't ask you to send the OJ to the other buyer? I asked them what they wanted me to do with the OJ and they never answered. I'll ask again when I get my slabs. The oj is one medium size cab. It is nice, though.

Maybe they're expecting YOU to send along the OJ once you have that buyer's return address? Then 2 peeps are out postage. NOT what you bargained for.

They printed the label with my address and are sending it to them to return the box to me. I won't even get their return address. Don't know what to do with it yet.

I accidentally shipped 2 fire pits to the wrong address. What a mess. I just gave each of them the wrong pit and sent them the right ones. They gave the wrong pit to their neighbors. Some mistakes hurt so much lol. Freight was going to ruin me. Beware of which item you put the shipping labels on.
My wife put our address on one fire pit. Fed Ex carried it off. Two days later it showed up back here. I laughed too hard to be married to her. Could not help it. Frying pans flying thru the air...

I got my slabs yesterday, well packed and in good condition. The original shipment had a freebie slab in it. No compensation for time and aggravation unless you count the sliver of oj. That's fine- I got my slabs and that's what counts. This was due to no small effort of the person who received them in error. Good on them. Wish I knew who they were.

Earlier this year I ordered about $70 worth of tumbling material and the seller mixed up his orders. I got somebody else's box and they got mine. The seller worked it out so that we each sent the correct boxes to each other and he refunded both of us completely for our orders. I got my $70 worth of rocks for the cost of shipping a box. Needless to say he got a great review. Chuck

I was gonna get cab pictures today and the slabs, but it's been rainy all day. I'll try to shoot them on the table tonight.

OK, here's the slabs. Pictures taken indoors. Keep in mind these are all high end in my book because I LOVE them. So, don't laugh. Lace with druzy. The big picture was over written. This is just a section. I think this is one of the prettiest I've seen A mystery lace which I love A very nice plasma agate- big too And this is the freebie- other than moss, I don't know what it is. The rest of the slab was ugly, dense gold plumes. I'll get one decent cab from this. eta- I should have gotten a picture of the oj- since I guess it's mine now. I should add too that the plasma was not as thick as described. It is about 4mm not 7/32". That's 1.5 mm off which is a lot. Not happy about that.

I should have put the name- it's Indian paint stone (others just call it mud).

That's what I thought it was but couldn't think of the name.

That's what I thought it was but couldn't think of the name. It is also called Death Valley Jasper, which I don't like 'cause it sure ain't no jasper. It's incredibly soft.

I stopped buying slabs on eBay years ago. Going to Quartzsite for the month of January is a hell of a lot more fun than surfing eBay. And I always enjoy a road trip trip during the non-weed-growing season in Alabama!

Less competition! LOL!
I would love to go to Q, but that's not gonna happen anytime soon.

Those are nice! The black and white is Zebra Lace out of Mexico. Your slab looks great. That material is often fractured and very vuggy. Often needs a lot of super glue.....Mel
