search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZllljeannielllQQhtZ-1Has anyone delt with this person? Seems like a great price. I have a friend in Washington that I can have things shipped to as he comes up on a regular basis so shipping would be okay I think if it's a flat rate box. Any thoughts? Tammy

No experience with that seller, but the price seems right and the feedback is good.
If I were into geodes, I'd give it a try.

No- I don't even buy geodes but if I did - I would try and make sure they were hollow in the first place. They could do a specific gravity test to see if they are hollow or not. Would be a shame if you think you're buying a geode and it turns out not to be. Shipping charges are also very high.
Don't mean to discourage you. ;D

I don't think the shipping is bad. $9.00. Some of those auctions are for over 20# of rock. A flat rate box is $8.10 - so they're making $0.90 off of you.
Some of the other auctions are for significantly less pounds, but if it is what you want just take shipping into account. And it appears that they will combine shipping on the smaller lots.
That's part of the cost per pound that I always factor in before bidding.
