Wish I could say these were mine but they are not. Took these pictures at the show I am selling at this weekend. Was told $500 would not be enough for one slab so I could only afford a picture. Took these with my phone but might take my real camera tomorrow and ask to take better photos. I really want a framed picture of one. Makes a killer phone lock screen photo. Chuck

Wow! I'd love to see what you would do with those!!!! The guy who owns them has some really killer stuff in his collection. Last year he brought a cabinet full of face polished bruneau jaspers valued at over $10,000 and this year he had 1,200 high end cabs all displayed in a one big pile. He said he cabbed them all himself in the last four years. Chuck

Chuck, how big is that slab? I'm guessing a foot long and half that wide.
If so, then there is easily 40-50 cabs in there. Prolly $2000++ in cabs. Seems $500 may be fair, pending answer on size.

I would say 4" x 9" max. He just cut those slabs so he is in no hurry to sell them. I am in the Detroit area so I have seen a whole lot of Fordite but these are the best I have ever seen. Chuck

My fordite supplier is still selling 5 and 10 pound lots. I got ten pounds a couple years ago but the price has gone up.

It is amazing they can still find material around town. Its not what you know its who you know. There are still two automotive manufacturing processes that create over spray. I am hearing rumors that those might be going away too soon. Chuck
