I ordered a 80 grit galaxy wheel (only $146 with shipping and taxes) on Tuesday. Minutes after ordering I received and email from Ron saying he was shipping. I got the wheel this afternoon-Thursday!
Great communication, fast shipping and good prices = Great service!

He lives about 20 miles from me and is at all the shows within 500 miles. Check out his his booth. He has everything from rocks to tools. I got my Genie from him. Best price I could find.

I do hear good things. His email communication skills may be limited. Hard to say. I had a real bad experience, and found him to get real nasty real quick. Among other things called me a liar. Maybe he was just having a bad week. It seems my experience was not typical. Don't know that I would go out of my way to do business with him though.

Daniel, I seem to recall the trouble that you had. I was a bit leery, but went ahead anyway. I must have caught Ron at the computer when I ordered. As minutes after placing the order and paying, I received a message from Ron that he was packaging up the product and would get it out the next day. Needless to say, I was very surprised at the fast service (and no grumpiness) with the transaction.

Ron's my local guy too and I've dealt with him for years and have been happy with stuff I've got from him. Don't think he's a real people person and he can be kind of cranky sometimes. However, he can also be real nice and a really fine fellow to talk rocks with too. Just a personality thing and it's always been my view you just have to accept folks the way they are. After all, ain't none of us are perfect....Mel

I saw his Ebay listing for a tumbler and bought it. I paid right away and in 5 minutes had an email from Ron saying it would be shipped immediately. It was, and I got it in 2 days. Good price, fast shipping, quick acknowledgment. Can't ask for more than that.

I also bought a 3# tumbler from him off ebay. (he does not like to do business personally at home) It usually takes a couple hours for the email to come back from him so I turned off the computer. Well, he calls me (had my phone# from the check I gave him for the genie at the show I guess) and says "I am leaving for my vacation to Hawaii tomorrow and if you pay now I will ship it before I leave". I had it next day. That is what I call communication!

Met him and his wife at a show in Arizona (Quartzite). Real nice, great prices! Nice to see a familiar name when I was so far from home!
