Not great he says , I see a whole bunch of awesome shine . Nice batch of tumbles . Thanks - I was more referring to the material. About half of the batch are unknown common rocks. Been doing this awhile so shiny boring rocks just don't seem to cut it anymore. A few years ago I would have been thrilled with this same batch. Chuck

I agree .... not too bad at all. Pictures are very good, you use a light tent? Thanks I almost used the light tent but decided it was not worth the effort. I don't have a dedicated spot for it so when I use it I have to set it up and take it down. These were just sitting on a table in the basement with a couple swing arm LED lights positioned on each side. Chuck

Chuck Yeah , funny how what we once thought were pretty rocks , turn into boring after working with quality material .

Chuck I feel like this comment sums up my rock tumbling feelings. It takes some great material to get me excited again. But this is still a wonderful, shiny batch!

I like this one! What is the striped one in the group shot, at about 5 o'clock? A piece of Fordite?

Good stuff Chuck Drummond Island Rocks . Nice mix of material, and I also like the rock that Garage Rocker picked. Crazy lace? Has a bit more yellow than some of the pieces I have. Maybe Laguna? How many guesses do I get? You just inspired me to go do my cleanouts today. I've been putting them off for a couple days - a bit of lack of energy. Glad I'm not having to worry about a vibe. Dave

My favorite is the same as Randy's. Is the rock in pic 7 gowganda tillite? That rock is definitely not Gowganda. The red in that one is not granite. Funny that you should mention it though. I hardly ever tumble Gowganda but I had a decent one in this batch. I took it out and set aside after 24 hrs in polish so it was not photographed with the others. Here it is. Not my favorite type of rock but it is local. Chuck

Not great? CAn appreciate a fellow perfectionist, but give a break to the newbies. They my end up afraid to post photos of anything, lol. Awesome variety you have there. Were they tumbled together?
